Start a Fundraiser

Create a Fundraiser from your brand’s Facebook Page to use Facebook to raise awareness and drive donations for the causes you care about.

Requirements:

  • Verified Facebook Page – blue or grey badge
  • Available to nonprofits in the US and EU (Giving Tuesday matching limited to eligible US fundraisers)
  • Creator of Fundraiser must be admin of the Facebook Page
  • Page Fundraisers can only be created on Desktop

Pledge to Match

We’ve seen that matching motivates more people to give. So in addition to the Giving Tuesday matching fund we’re offering a new way for you to move your fans to take action: encourage giving to your Fundraiser by pledging to match donations using our Fundraiser Matching, where you can match donations to a fundraiser you’ve created.

Requirements:

  • Verified Facebook Page – blue or grey badge
  • Available to nonprofits in the US
  • Only the creator of a Fundraiser can pledge a match
